Designed to facilitate efficient air removal from power steering systems, this 3-piece adapter set connects directly to MV8000 or MV8500 hand vacuum pumps. The kit includes a universal adapter for pump necks ranging from 5/8″ (15.9 mm) to 1-5/8″ (41.3 mm), a specialized GM adapter for two-tab cap designs, and a Ford adapter for internal neck diameters of 1.25″ (3.2 cm) to 2″ (5.1 cm). These components provide the necessary seals to pull a vacuum and eliminate trapped air that causes pump noise and erratic steering performance.
